Princess Cut is a world-traveled vibe setter whose professional experience ranges from cultivating playlists for Neiman Marcus Atlanta as their resident DJ, to touring the globe with Oprah, Cee-Lo, Goodie Mob, Tupac’s group the Outlawz and R&B singer The Dream. Princess Cut represents her love for Pop/Euro/Dance music, while Sweetbox Jones is all about Hip-Hop: mainstream, old school, southern and underground.

It is for that reason she was commissioned to spin at the opening of the world-renowned Balloon Museum exhibit at Pullman Yards, the High Museum Atlanta’s closing party for the “Picasso to Warhol” exhibit, as well as Jack Daniel’s “Art, Beats + Lyrics” tour that included spinning at Art Basel in Miami. Her mixing skills have been sought-after by other noted public figures, companies and retailers including Gayle King of CBS This Morning, former Atlanta Mayors Kasim Reed and Keisha Bottoms, current Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Taye Diggs, Jeezy, HARPO, OWN Network, REVOLT, the W Hotel, Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, Carol’s Daughter, Pandora, Red Bull, Fendi, Jimmy Choo, Victoria’s Secret, Ann Taylor, Steve Madden, PUMA, Adidas and more. Princess Cut had the honor of DJ’ing an event at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022, sharing the stage with Offset from the Migos.

Princess Cut has appeared on Bravo’s Married to Medicine, BET’s The Game and Quad as well as the TV series Know Your Heritage: Black College Quiz. In 2022, she was the resident DJ for OWN Network’s Nightcap with Carlos King. She’s also been featured in digital and print publications such as Black Enterprise, VIBE, Upscale, Jezebel, Hip-Hop Weekly, Rolling Out, Creative Loafing, Madame Noire and Mandatory Business. Princess Cut launched her own media property, Sweetbox TV on YouTube where she interviews artists (music/film), producers and DJs, as well as chronicles her unique lifestyle. Her most recent interview with rapper Kevin Gates has received rave reviews and continues to be one of her most-watched videos. She is also the founder of the ATL-based DJ school Scratch Out Loud and vitamin company Tribe Dragonfly. Princess Cut can be heard on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 radio station and is the sole female member of the Hoodrich DJ coalition, where she interviews guests on Sirius XM’s Hoodrich Radio on Hip-Hop Nation. Princess Cut also followed in the footsteps of legendary DJs such as DJ Premiere, DJ Green Lantern and DJ Jazzy Jeff when she hosted Volume 163 of Cornerstone’s legendary mixtape installment.

In between balancing her passion and purpose, Princess Cut continues to put out classic mixtapes, as well as give back to the community working with organizations such as The Steve Harvey Foundation, Usher’s New Look Foundation and various outreach programs that target disenfranchised youth, particularly young women. In 2018, she traveled to Uzbekistan to represent the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to teach the art of DJ’ing as part of the Next Level program.
